A CNC turned part is a component that has been produced using a computer numerical control (CNC) lathe machine. The lathe machine is capable of rotating the workpiece while a cutting tool removes material from it to create the desired shape and size.

The CNC lathe machine is programmed with a computer-aided design (CAD) file that contains information about the dimensions, features, and tolerances of the part. The cutting tool is moved along the X, Y, C, and Z axes according to the instructions in the CAD file, which ensures that the part is machined with high accuracy and repeatability.

CNC turned parts are commonly used in a wide range of industries, such as aerospace, automotive, medical, and electronics. They can be made from various materials, including metals, plastics, and composites.

CNC turning is particularly useful for producing parts with cylindrical or circular features, such as shafts, pins, and bushings, as well as parts with intricate shapes and contours.
